Carob Molasses Cookies

Ingredients

  • 200g all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons Biladi Tahini
  • 8 tablespoons cup Biladi Carob Tahini
  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 70g sesame seeds


Preheat the oven to 180C. Mix dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients. Stir together to make dough. The dough should be soft, not sticky.

Roll the dough into small 3-4cm thick balls. Flatten the ball out and dip one side into sesame seeds. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Initially the cookies may be a bit soft, they will harden as they cool down.
